This is coming face to face with an old nightmare... Literally.
When I was young I had a recurring nightmare where I was in a decaying and decrepit city hiding with all these other people in fear. Then there was a wolf like creature that was more bones than flesh that tore through the wall at us snapping and snarling. I ran. There were so many screams. I hid behind a semi fallen wall and kept still. Then this beast runs past catching a woman, and swallows her whole. She ends up stuck and trapped in the beast's ribcage, and begs and screams for some one to help her as the thing runs past me. she reaches out to me, her screams and eyes pleading with me to help her. And then I woke up.
I have searched before in the past for a picture of that creature. This is the closest representation of that nightmare beast that I have found. I applaud your skill, and enjoy finally being able to show others what my nightmare looked like. Bravo! And thank you.
"They are lean and athirst!" he shrieked... "All the evil in the universe was concentrated in their lean, hungry bodies. Or had they bodies? I saw them only for a moment, I cannot be certain." —Frank Belknap Long, "The Hounds of Tindalos"
